Retacnyl (Tretinoin)
I didn't pack this along with the rest of my stuff
because I knew I was going to take it out anyway (same goes for PanOxyl). But
for accuracy's sake, I'm listing it to account for all my skin care stuff that
are actually out of the bag. (1)
Mary Kay Tinted Moisturizer SPF20
Tretinoin makes the skin more photosensitive so I took
this out. (2)
Celeteque Exfoliating Facial Wash
This came from a loot bag I got last Christmas. I was going to give it away but when E saw
it, he decided to try it out (probably because of the scrubbing bits, he loves
scrubbing his face). He looked for it
when he didn't see it on the sink so out of the bag it goes. (3)
Alba Botanica Acnedote and Jason Super-C Cleanser
I alternate between these 2 cleansers. I use Super-C Cleanser on tretinoin days and
Acnedote on all other days. (4,5)
Beckham Body Silk Lotion
I got this as a gift last Christmas and I found myself
using it quite frequently because E likes it. On the tube, it says it's for
women but I find the smell a sexy musky unisex scent. (6)
Jason Ester-C Lotion
This is my favorite facial moisturizer, I can't remember
how many bottles I bought of this. I've been using it for more than 6 years and
I'm down to the last few pumps. I might have to find another moisturizer after
this because they reformulated the whole Jason Ester-C line. When I find products I like, I seldom look
for something else so it was really a bummer. (7)
PanOxyl
When I break out and my pimples are really really
stubborn, this is my go to drug. It's my last-resort-pimple-rescue-product:
while it takes care of the bump, it leaves a nasty dark mark. (8)
Derma E Fruit Smoothee Toning Mist
I bought this a replacement for Jason Ester-C Toner which
was reformulated (I don't know if the reformulated one is better, but looking
at the ingredients' list, it looks like a totally different product). Anyway, I’m merely just finishing this and
considering dropping toner altogether this year because of this article. (9)

The tote bag still looks pretty full and for now, I refuse to look at what's in there. If you want to know more about The De-stashing Project, click here.
Yay, I'm glad you've rescued some out of the destash pile! Hehe. Where did you buy the J/A/S/O/N? I'm curious about it :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute that E liked the Celeteque :)
Jason is sold at Healthy Options. I can't vouch for the new formulation, but the old one I really like.
ReplyDeleteKakaaliw nga, E loves anything grainy :D

ReplyDeleteHi Ayen, how did celeteque do? Eric is liking it so far.
ReplyDeleteHmm.. so far, I don't use any of these products. I am more of Pond's, Nivea, Olay, Body Shop and other random items from the drugstore. Hihi.
ReplyDeleteI called several Mercury Drug branches and was told that Retacnyl is already "cancelled" from their system. :( Phased out na kaya or they just don't want to carry it anymore?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, what's your routine? How do you use Retacnyl?
Thanks! :)
